I had a good day. No particulary reason though, it just went along swimmingly I guess. We got bogged in the doooonnz in Bunbury because Boss thought it'd be a good idea to go 4WDing. That was a laff, phew.

Looking forward to the weekend, xxxxxxxlong :) parties and hopefully going up to Lancelin for a night too.

Today has been really, really weird. Lots of strange stuff happened, nothing directly associated with me but bizarre nonetheless.

Last week was le awesome. Especially Friday, I think I will list why Friday was so dope.

REASONS WHY VIDZY'S FRIDAY WAS SO DOPE -

a) 10am start (only cause I worked till late the night before but I digress)

b) Watching Channel [V] in the morning then WhatUwant came on with The Used hosting BUT they are forgiven because they requested Converge - When Eagles Become Vultures and Isis - In Fiction (!!!). Looks like BERT MCCRACKENCRACKINGMCCRACKEN is finally doing something right. Looks like I finally got WhatIwanted *badoomtsch*. Chuckles ++ when Bert said that he thinks that Converge are, ahem "PUNK ROCK"

c) Cruisey day at work consisting of mainly pick ups and deliveries in one of the work utes. Which meanst I spent the whole day driving around in the lovely weather, smoking and listening to Triple J.

d) Early knock off and getting paid for a full days work

e) Completely missing Freeway traffic and cranking Pantera - Cowboys From Hell, Psycho Holiday and Domination the whole way home.

e) Catching up with mates at the pub for a couple of pints then going to one of thems place for more drinks

Pretty perfect day if you ask me. On Saturday I had to work in Narrogin (200 clicks East of Armadale) which I was a bit bummed about because it was my Mum's birthday but she didn't mind and the extra money doesn't hurt either. Didn't get home till like 9.30pm which was a bit gay but I got to see Mum before she went to bed because she was merrily pissed :~) Then went to Zoey and Clives and got riotously drunk with them till the early hours of Sunday morning.

Works been great and I've been feeling alot damn better myself lately.

Buying my The Haunted ticket tomorrow, live Swedish metal \m/

Things have been fairly good at late. In the work department it's been great. Spent two days this week at inductions for minesites & refineries. On Wednesday I got my MARCSTA (Mining and Resource Contractors Safety Training Association, basically you need this ticket before you even set a toe on a minesite) and on Thursday I got my pass to Worley Parsons refinery/shipping port in Bunbury, Confined Space ticket and Personnel Lockbox (instead of danger/out of service tags you have to use padlocks, nothing really interesting just site protocol). I like the Bunbury site better than the Collie one, less out of the way and less Caustic Soda fumes boreing away at your lungs. Anyways, I get to go on a working 'holiday' for about 3 days next week. Get put up in a hotel in Bunbury town, all meals paid for and even $30 a night booze allowance. Thank yoons very much BHP Billiton.

I hung out with an old friend that I hadn't really seen for a few months the other night. He was a best mate then fucked me and his other friends off to be involved with the more scuzzy side of Perth. At one point it got really painful to see him because each time he was so fucked up on meth and whatever else, he just wasn't him anymore. But, he's stopped all that and whatever else and more or less back to normal. I was a bit hesitant about seeing him again, but in the end I'm gald I went. It was good to catch up and find out he's doing alright for himself now. Except for this bird he's shacked up with. I mean I've known the guy for years and years and I haven't seen him this happy. Though something just doesn't seem right and I think he's wayyy over his head. Regardless, it's good to see him back again.

Thinking about all the 'good old times' and namely last year really gets me down sometimes though. The above and another good mate both were going down a bad track, the other guy has had to skip town because of some dealer shit he got embroiled in. He's alive, but thats not the point.

Last year though I did lose someone I really cared for. I miss them so much. As stupid as it sounds, I wonder sometimes if they think about me, but I know that its not likely. It's not that they're uncontactable...just unreachable I guess, and theres nowt I can do about it.

Going out with the local crew this evening, got invited to a girl I used to work at Domino's withs party. Will probably hitch on down to the local afterwards too. Hopefully it'll be an alright night :)

Hope everyone has had/is having a good Xmas.

I'm pretty tired. Had to work in fucking Northam again yesterday for 15 hours. This week has been shit, especially work. Everyday having to drive 2 hours there and 2 hours back, working with a manic depressive, alcoholic sub-contractor that beats up his kids, under the sun on a sheeted roof for hours on fucking end.

Last night was good though. Had a nice relaxed dinner with Mum and Dad at a Thai resturant down the road then went to Jareds to have a few beers with the boys. Today has been good too, nice lay in with a stress-free present swap. I got a BDO ticket, a premium beer pack and some chocolate :)

Now I'm killing time before we goto our family friends' lunch thing at their house and then I'm shooting off to Zoey and Clives.

Fuck I hope things pan out alright over the next few weeks. I've just had enough of everything.

Well here is the promised photo update. Mainly consists the stupid things I do at work when I'm bored and, well not much else really.

Had a really chilled and relaxed (CHILLAXED!) night yesterday, which is all you can really ask for after working in Northam all day. Just watched a couple of movies and drank a few beers at Cheezy's with Phil and Russell,. Tonight theres a few things on, will probably goto Giselle's 18th though.

Anyway... 

Things have been a bit better as of late. Work hasn't been as brutal, things are good at home at the moment and the prospect of time off over Xmas/NY is exciting. I still really miss some people though.
